Valpo Soccer Club participates with other local Rec+ soccer clubs within the Northwest Indiana Soccer League (NWISL) and is an age-based program with U8, U10, U12, and U14 gender-specific divisions. Most divisions offer multiple teams at different skill levels to give our players the ability to compete and develop their individual and team skill. The "U" or Under refers to the player's age. If you have any questions regarding which division you should be registering for, please view our Age Matrix to see what birthdates qualify for which division.

There are no tryouts for Valpo Soccer Club. However, please note that we generally hold an evaluation process shortly before the start of each season. This evaluation is held at no cost to you with the purpose of making adjustments to rosters to help our players succeed. We will ask during registration if your child is a first time player so that we may place them accordingly. First time players are welcomed at any age level! Additionally, your comments about your player's history and skill level are welcomed during the registration process. 

If you are interested in volunteering as a head coach or assistant coach, please indicate your interest during the registration process. We provide a Coaching Pathway for all coaches that helps bring volunteers up to speed on the requirements, needs, and coaching strategy of the club. If you have ever been interested in better understanding the game or helping develop youth athletes, this is a great opportunity for you.
